Vendors and audits all incoming vouchers
received from all County departments for payment. Making sure
all are within budget guidelines. Maintain filing system for all
receipts for distribution of accounts payable checks and months
end. Responsible for auditing and distribution of weekly and
monthly payables to vendors. Enters Accounts payables when
needed. |

Inventory Control with regard to purchase of County equipment,
the Assistant Deputy Auditor must maintain a system of inventory
control which includes documentation and number of such
equipment as received either by action of the County Board or
authorization by a Department Head. Maintaining a current
control sheet by Department for distribution to the various
departments. This responsibility requires knowledge of computer
data entry/word processing/excel spreadsheets. Must have neat
penmanship and the ability to type. |

Purchasing Clerk: Assisting County Auditor in purchasing of
office supplies for County Departments. Inventorying of supplies
kept within the Auditor’s office. Responsible for stocking of
all supplies. In the absence of an IT Department, has assumed
responsibility for ordering equipment and software. |

Purchase orders: Responsible for issuing all purchase orders
requested by all County Departments within the guideline of the
purchasing policy passed by the Tazewell County Board. Maintain
filing system of purchase orders. |

Contact person for maintenance of copier machines throughout the
County. Maintain records of all maintenance calls and copy
counts. |

Audits statements received from various vendors for accuracy. |
