duties, the most important is advising all branches of county
government on all legal questions which arise and representing
them in court when necessary. |
| The criminal prosecution function is
accomplished by the State's Attorney and Assistant State's
Attorneys. The State's Attorney, Chief Assistant and Felony

also Assistants assigned to each of the courtrooms dealing with
Traffic, Misdemeanor, and Juvenile prosecution. |

members assist victims of crimes through the Victim/Witness
